Medical school

Went to the doctor for another appointment...32 weeks and 1 day! Little nael came along with me and Dr. C handed little nael the doppler. Little nael pushed the button to turn it on and acted like she knew what to do with it. When she was propped up next to me, Dr. C handed her the wand and little nael asked her for some jelly! Without any help or guidance from Dr. C, little nael moved the wand on my belly while Dr. C was telling her to look for the baby's heartbeat. So, little nael with doppler wand in hand, moved around my belly then finally stopped below my belly button. She just held the wand there and we heard the heartbeat. She held it on the same spot long enough for the heartbeat to be measured! Then Dr. C said, "who needs medical school?" We both laughed and found it impressive that this litte girl seemed to know what she was doing...

swimming

little nael pooped in the potty for the first time this afternoon!!! Yiippeee...woo-hoo!! I was excited...and the best part..little nael looked down in the toilet and said "poop is swimming!" I couldn't help but laugh to myself. And, yes, I was so proud of our big little girl!

Potty month

Our goal for this month is potty training! Yup! Snowboarder has started little nael on the potty last week but starting from today, we're using training pants during the day and hopefully get little nael on the potty EVERYDAY! Even if it's just a pee here and there and maybe a poop...

Hopefully, with a whole month to work on it, she won't feel too pressured!

So first thing this morning was a pee in the potty...woohoo! Then another pee in the potty after her nap...not bad, eh?! Then finally, another pee in the potty before bedtime!

Keeping our fingers crossed that all goes well for the next 3o days!
