easel

Little nael who is now 3 1/2 had a wonderful time Christmas Eve. She stayed up till midnight so she could open presents. In the past, she wasn't yet aware of what Christmas was about and didn't pay much attention to gifts, Christmas carols or even Santa. This year is an entirely new story for her. Little nael loves Christmas! She was excited about opening her presents, as well as other people's gifts and she just loved all her gifts! She got a Super Shopper shopping cart with grocery items in it, a musical jewelry box with a twirling ballerina, books, a doctor's kit (to replace the old one), a cool playmobil set, a kids camera (nael loves taking pictures), a Diego toy, Handy Manny, a heart box craft and a deluxe easel. She's been playing with her new toys, reading her new books and for the last 2 days, painting and drawing on her new easel. nael's been writing her name on the chalkboard and simply gets excited that she can her write her name.

snow bunny

Went up to Vail for one night and stayed at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch. My parents are spending the holidays with us so we all went up Saturday night to celebrate my mom's birthday. The next morning, snowboarder took little nael out to the bunny slope for her first ski lesson and she loved it! Snowboarder took her up more than three times and it looked like nael was having fun. She did ask to go on a break after two small runs down the bunny slope then she was back for more.

1st birthday

So baby j officially turned ONE on Dec. 13th and his Nonny and Papa John were in town to help celebrate. Nonny baked a choco cake with boiled frosting. We celebrated a day early since snowboarder and Papa John along with Aunt Liz were headed to Vail to ski on Saturday.

double birthday celebration

Baby J and his gal pal, Avery celebrated their 1st birthdays together last Sat., Dec. 6th at home with a few friends, along with their siblings and Moms and Dads. Avery's mom and I planned a light brunch and a music class for the little ones. I think they all had a great time...

4 steps

We were over at our neighbor's house earlier this evening and baby j was busy crawling around as usual and cruising along holding on to furniture. Later on, we were all in the living room when baby j crawled towards the TV cabinet. He hung on to the cabinet for a while trying to open it even with the child proof lock on it. Then he turned around, let go of the cabinet and took 4 steps towards me....Woohooo!!! Baby J's going to be walking soon....o, oh!

dada time

Snowboarder spent the morning with the kids while I went out shopping on Black Friday! I left the house a little before 7am and told snowboarder that I'd try to be back before the kids got up(yeah right) and if I wasn't, to call me. I got wrapped up in my shopping that I didn't get home till 10am. I walked into the kitchen and snowboarder was with the kids. He gave me a quick update on what went on in the house: made pancakes with nael, changed baby j's diapers, gave him his milk and that they were all done eating breakfast, including baby j! WOW....pretty impressive and not one phone call(snowboarder said he didn't want to bother me, another WOW.) Then, snowboarder and I played a round of Chutes and Ladders with nael. Apparently, snowboarder and nael had already played a game of Candy Land while I was away this morning. While baby j was napping, snowboarder decided to take little nael out for a hike while I "unpacked" my shopping finds as snowboarder put it. When they got back, we had lunch, waited for baby j to wake up then headed to the Children's Hospital to visit a friend. During dinner, snowboarder asked nael what she did today. With the help of her father. she recounted her day and said that she spent the whole day with her dada!

french toast

nael wanted to make pancakes this morning but I told her that we didn't have enough sour cream to make a batch so I suggested making french toast instead and she agreed. With the help of snowboarder, little nael donned her chef's hat and apron and spent the morning making french toast with her dada.

cake time

Little nael had a busy Saturday! I took her to Tyler's 4th birthday party in the morning. Tyler is one of little nael's classmates in school. He had a jumping castle in his backyard and Dinger, the mascot for the Colorado Rockies, came over for a visit! The kids loved him. He had photos taken with each kid and gave each one of them an autographed baseball! And before Dinger left he also gave the kids a Rockies bag filled with goodies. What a treat...
In the late afternoon, snowboarder and I took the kids to another birthday party. This time it was Tate's 1st birthday party. Unfortunately, little nael didn't get a chance to nap today but seemed to be full of energy anyway. She was playing with all of Tate's toys and sat next to him when it was time to blow out his 1st birthday candle. Come to think of it, little nael also sat next to Tyler this morning when it was time for the birthday cake. She sure knows where to sit when it's cake time...

dada's bday

It was snowboarder's birthday last Thursday and we just celebrated at home with take out dinner from Jose O'Shea's and a German Choco birthday cake from Whole Foods. Snowboarder was too tired to go out and I got too busy to bake a cake so we did the next best thing, ordered food to go!

sick!

Took little nael to school this morning and when I got home I had two messages from her school saying that she was sick! According to her teacher, Mrs. Mesa, little nael had gone to the bathroom then came out crying saying that she wasn't feeling well. Odd thing for me was that I usually don't check phone messages when I get home from taking her to school. I usually just get baby j's breakfast ready then I feed him. But this morning, strangely enough, as soon as I walked into the door with baby j in my arms, I checked our home voicemail for messages. We had 2 messages and I thought they were probably birthday messages for snowboarder from his family since it was his birthday yesterday. To my surprise, the messages were from Mrs. Mesa. I am soooo thankful that I checked my voicemail!!! So, I called the school back to let them know I got their messages then baby j and I rushed back to school. When I got there, little one was laying on the couch at Ms Mary's office with Ms Mary at her side. Ms Mary said that nael had already thrown up once. Little nael did look pale and felt warm. I carried her back to the car with the help of Ms Mary who carried baby j. On the way home, nael said she had to "spit up" (aka throw up) so I pulled over and gave her the bucket and rag which Ms Mary lent me to take home just in case. I must say, good thinking on Ms Mary's part! When we got home, little nael just wanted to rest on the couch which she did. She woke up a couple of times to "spit up" but immediately fell back asleep afterwards. When she finally got up at about 2pmish, nael exclaimed that she was feeling better. She had some soup and crackers for lunch and soon after was back to her old self...talking, running around, playing, and being silly! Thankfully she got better pretty quickly. What got her sick? I don't know. Everyone else is saying that it was a 24 hour bug but it sure didn't last that long. And, I sure am not complaining....

puppets

I took the kids to see a puppet show this past Saturday over at the Denver Pupper Theater . Little nael's friend, Allie and her mom joined us for the afternoon. We saw African Animal Tales featuring a spider named Anansi. The girls seemed to enjoy it and had the opportunity before the show to color/decorate their very own paper puppet. After the 45 min show, the girls also had the chance to play with some puppets/dolls/props. They had a wonderful time pretending to be different kinds of animals. On our way out, we passed the party room where kids can have a birthday party and make puppets. Little nael saw the room and exclaimed that she wants to have her birthday party there with her friends so we'll see. Every week if not every day she's always talking about what she wants for her birthday and where it's going to be so we'll see....

school helper

Snowboarder took the morning off from work yesterday to help out at little nael's school. He was one of the parent helpers and I think little nael was pretty excited to have her father in school with her! Snowboarder was assigned to the "feathers on a toilet paper roll" craft during free choice time and he read a book, Bear wants more, to the kids during lunch bunch.
I asked snowboarder if he'd be willing to be a school helper again and he said, "yes" so...i'll mark him down to help out in January, February, March and April :)

playgroup

We had playgroup at home this morning. There were about 8 moms (including me), 5 babies (under 1) and 5 toddlers/preschoolers! Little nael was pretending to be a dog...barking, licking and walking on all fours! She also played with Allie on the trike, taking turns pushing each other and had snacks with Makenzie (twice!)
Baby J is usually up by 8am and naps by 10am for a couple of hours. However, these last 2 days, he's been waking up at 10am and napping at noon. So this morning, he was awake during playgroup and didn't miss any fun. His usual friends were here, Avery and Brynn but Baby J also had a couple new playmates, little boy Tate who is just 4 weeks older than him (we met Tate and his mom in music class last Friday) and sweet lil Annie Rose who was the youngest baby in the group. She and her mom just joined our moms group.

Hi

Earlier this evening, the kids and I were busy playing in the playroom. At some point, little nael rushed out to use the potty. Minutes later, I hear the phone ring and little nael yells out, "phone is ringing, Mama." I walk over to the kitchen and I see little nael reaching up to the phone hanging on the wall. She manages to grab the receiver and says, "Hi!" I take the phone from her and fortunately it was just Taylor's mom. I give the phone back to little nael and she and Taylor's mom are chatting a bit. This is a first!!! Normally, she'll only say a few words here and there while I hold the cellphone to her ear then she'll walk away, but this time, she's on the landline, holding the phone by herself. Anyhow, later on in the evening, I'm busy upstairs getting baby j ready for bed and my cellphone rings. Litte nael offers to get it and runs downstairs. It stops ringing and I hear her say "hi" again. I head to the kitchen and little nael is once again on the phone! I try to get the phone from her but she says she's not done yet. From her conversation, I could hear that she was talking to her dad. She chats a bit with her father, telling him about her day. She finally gives me the phone and snowboarder says that this was the longest phone conversation he's ever had with little nael. I agreed and I had to tell him about her first phone call earlier in the evening. Our little girl is becoming a phone chatter...Oh, oh!

Cinderella

Little nael's class had a Halloween party on Friday and she was dressed as a princess, of course! Her Auntie Ame had given her a Cinderella dress and she has been obsessed with it ever since. Auntie Ame and Nonny also sent her a beautiful princess hat a few days ago to match her dress. Thankfully, the weather was nice during the day (in the low 70s) and not too cold in the evening. I was concerned that she'd be too cold in her dress but the weather was cooperating. They had a parade in school and had given out some treats to take home. After preschool, we had to go to a makeup music class since we missed 2 classes. It looked like little nael had fun in music class since the other kids were dressed in costumes too.
Unfortunately, our little Cinderella got a late start trick or treating in the evening. She was so tired from the day's activities that she napped from about 3:45pm till 8pm. We had plans to head to our neighbor's house for some drinks/appetizers so we took Cinderella to a few houses in our neighborhood where she did get some candy. Then we headed to our neighbor's house for our last stop. Snowboarder and I are fortunate that our Cinderella isn't too crazy about sweets (more for us). I don't think she even ate any candy or chocolate that night.

Bumper Car

Snowboarder had the afternoon off so we decided to head to the coast. We headed west and stopped at Seaside for lunch. We walked around the beach for a little bit and little nael and snowboarder rode a bumper car for the very first time. I thought she'd be scared but when I asked her how she was after it was over, she said she had fun.

Oregon Zoo

Snowboarder has been busy traveling to Portland for work so we decided that the kids and I will join him this time. The hotel, the Nines, finally opened a week ago and the Grand Opening party was held a few days ago. Friday morning, snowboarder stayed at the hotel while baby j napped. So little nael and I took the MAX (light rail) and headed to the zoo! Little nael was excited to take the light rail/train to the zoo which was so convenient. You can board the MAX a block across from the hotel and there is a stop right at the zoo. The MAX stops in a tunnel then you have to take a high speed elevator up. When the elevator doors opens, the Zoo entrance is just steps away! We didn't have to walk too far to get there.
At the zoo, we saw the usual..Brown Bears, Polar Bears, Giraffes, Elephants and Monkeys but we also saw BATS! Yup, we did! We don't have bats in our local zoo so this was pretty cool. The bats were hanging upside down from this green netting and there was food (broccoli) tossed around casually on the net. The bats would bite off a piece, fly away with a piece of broccoli then hang upside down eating. It was kinda cool and eerie at the same time to see these creatures.
Little nael was such a good sport at the zoo. I didn't bring a stroller so she had to walk the whole time we were there up until we got back to the hotel. I think I did carry her once but when I told her it was time to walk she didn't complain!

Princess dress

Auntie Ame has been in town the last few days to visit little nael and baby j. She arrived last week and gave little nael an adorable blue Cinderella dress. Well, little nael simply loves the Disney princesses especially Cinderella so this dress was the perfect gift! She tried the dress on immediately when Auntie Ame gave it to her and has been wearing the dress everyday. She puts it on first thing in the morning after breakfast. Then, Auntie Ame got her a tiara at the mall yesterday which she now has to wear with her dress. She parades around the house now -- her princess dress, tiara along with a pair of my high heeled shoes!

Oreo

Little nael's preschool class has a guinea pig named Oreo and on weekends, a family can take Oreo home. So this weekend, we volunteered to take care of Oreo and little nael was excited to bring her home. Little nael fed Oreo carrots, watermelon, strawberries and bananas. She also wanted to play with Oreo in the backyard but we didn't get a chance to since we got so busy this weekend. Maybe next time...

Sunflower Farms/Walden adventure

Had a fun day at Sunflower farms last Saturday with snowboarder and the kids. We also met up with Tanja and Allie there. Little nael had fun playing/climbing on the treehouse and crossing the bridge. She rode a pony for the first time, played in the hay, jumped on a trampoline and shoveled sand.
After we left Sunflower Farms, snowboarder suggested that we drive further up north past Fort Collins to explore the area for fly fishing spots. Since I've never been to Fort Collins and anywhere past north of that area, I agreed. So we stopped at a gas station, filled up the tank and snowboarder armed himself with a Colorado Road atlas.
We reached Fort Collins 40 minutes later and kept on going then snowboarder had an idea: If I was up for it, we could stay overnight in a town called Walden! He pointed it out on the map. It was still early in the afternoon, we didn't have any plans for the rest of the day and we weren't in any rush to get home, so I said yes on the condition that I could stop at a grocery store to pick up food/milk for the kids. We turned back to Fort Collins, found a Safeway then made our way to Walden. So our adventure began...

Day Out with Thomas

Thomas the Train

Went to the Railroad Museum so little nael can ride Thomas the train. Little nael got a temporary tattoo of Thomas on her arm when we first got there and before we headed home she wanted a tattoo of Percy on her other arm! I think that little nael had fun riding Thomas...she's been asking if we can go back to see Thomas again!

Zoo

Headed to the zoo with the kids yesterday. Met up with little nael's friend, Allie and her mom, Tanja. Little nael had fun feeding the lorikeets with nectar juice and watching the orangutans up close. She was also having fun taking pictures with my camera just like Allie was taking pictures with Tanja's camera.

LA-LA land

The kids and I along with snowboarder were in LA for a few days. We checked into the Beverly Wilshire hotel and we were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite courtesy of one of our good friends working at the Front Desk. Snowboarder and I used to work at this beautiful hotel many years ago and it was nice to be back as a guest! We saw a few familiar faces and it was nice to be recognized as well by the staff even after all these years...the same people we used to work with! From valet parkers, housekeeping attendants, bellmen, servers, bussers...
Snowboarder was in town for business, meeting with some Bravo folks while the kids and I just tagged along to see my family. I also got to see the ol' BH girls. Had drinks at the bar, took the Rolls house car and had a wonderful dinner at La Dolce Vita.

little girl - big school

It was little nael's first day at the big school today!!! Snowboarder and I have been talking to little nael about going to the big school for the last couple of weeks and I think that little nael was pretty excited this morning. I was worried that I had to wake her up and she'd be grumpy but she woke up at 7:15am on her own.

I was fortunate enough to be one of the parent helpers today (BIG thanks to Aunt Sarah who stayed home to watch baby j) which gave me a chance to see how nael interacted and participated in a classroom setting. It also allowed me to see what a typical class day was like. Little nael seemed at ease right from the start which made me realize that I had nothing to worry about.
As a parent helper, I had to bring in snacks for the whole class so I decided to bring watermelon chunks, grapes and little nael's favorite "orange" crackers which everyone loved including the other adults (nael's teacher, Mrs. Mesa and 2 other parent helpers). It was also one of the kid's birthdays so the birthday boy's mom brought in snacks too - watermelon and blueberry muffins!
The kids spent the first hour doing an activity of their choice: painting, playing with playdough or at the water table, etc then they headed to the LMC for an activity led by Mrs Mesa. While they were busy at the LMC, we (parent helpers and our kids) set up the table and prepared for snack time. Soon after, the rest of the kids came back to the classroom. First, they all sang Happy Birthday to Trey who had a little candle on his mini muffin then they munched on some snacks. When we were all done eating, Mrs Mesa had the kids sit in a circle then she read them a book. Afterwards, we headed out to the playground. At 11:30, some of the kids went home while the rest stayed for lunch bunch. Little nael and I didn't stay for lunch bunch but headed home to see baby jeffrey and Aunt Sarah...
I think school wore out little nael today...she napped right after lunch and slept for a couple of hours!

Summer Camp

So today was the last day of summer camp at home with little nael and her friends. The final theme/agenda was cooking camp and nael, allie, evan, baby jeffrey, makenzie and baby avery each had an apron and a chefs hat to wear! The recipes included butter cookies, watermelon popsicles, and 5-minute ice cream in a bag. I think all the kids had a great time using the hand mixer, cutting out the cookies, playing with the dough, etc. While the cookies were baking and the popsicles freezing, the kids played out in the backyard and splashed around in the frog pool. Can't think of a better way to end summer camp...

Smoking mountain

So today has been an exciting, nerve wracking adventure in our own neighborhood. Green Mountain caught on fire this afternoon apparently struck by lightning. We live down the street from Green Mountain and the kids and I happened to be out shopping when this all started. On our way home ( we were only gone for 1 1/2 hrs.), snowboarder called to ask where we were and told me that there was a fire in our neighborhood. He heard from a co-worker/neighbor that Green Mountain was burning! Before snowboarder called, I did notice smoke from a distance but didn't think anything of it. When we got home we could see the flames on the hillside from our driveway. I pointed it out to little nael and she said that the mountain was smoking. It sure was. Silly me, I thought nothing of it and figured that it'll be doused soon enough so we went about our day like everything was fine. Well, fast forward 3 hours later and the flames, fanned by the wind, continued to burn eastward then northwest, towards our direction. About 10 homes were evacuated already as the fire was in their backyard! We got a warning call from the fire dept. and so I finally told snowboarder to come home just in case. I started to pack a few things and tried to make a mental note of all the important documents that I needed to take with us. In the meantime, little nael was looking out the bedroom window watching the smoking mountain, as she called it. I told her to pray that it would rain and she asked me why. After I explained to her that the rain can help ease the fire, she said she would. So, snowboarder finally made it home and wanted to walk down the block to take pics. We took the kids and started down the street when it started to rain. Yup, it started to drizzle then the drops started falling and falling...it was raining! I ran back home with baby jeffrey in the stroller while snowboarder and little nael continued down the block. Thankfully, the fire headed south and with the help of the rain, was finally contained by the brave firefighters. We didn't have to evacuate. We're home safe...Thank GOD!

noculars

Went to Tiny Town yesterday and met up with one of little nael's friends, Allie and her mommy. Originally, we had planned to go to Sunflower Farms but it has been way too hot lately so we just decided to head up to the mountains instead. It was raining on the way there and was still drizzling when we got to Tiny Town but the rain was a welcome relief from the heat and it helped us cool off for a little bit. The last time we were there, little nael rode the caboose with her other friends so it wasn't a surprise when little nael wanted to ride on it again. This time she and Allie rode the caboose while Allie's mom, Tanja and I along with baby jeffrey sat a few rows infront. Well before we got on the train, little nael found binoculars at the gift shop and kept on playing with it. Since little nael has been really good lately, I promised her that we'd get the binoculars on our way out. And, of course, when it was time to go home, little nael didn't want to leave without her noculars, as she called it.

Frick and Frack

The kids and I went to Belleview Park yesterday and met up with a few of little nael's friends, Evan, Sun and Taylor. Evan happens to be a few days older than little nael and is one of her closest friends that she hangs out with often. When they're together, it is usually chaotic...running around everywhere, screaming, laughing - Frick and Frack simply having fun!
Anyway, there is usually a miniature train that runs around the park but for some unknown reason the train ride was closed for the day. Thankfully, little nael was having fun with her friends splashing in the creek that she didn't seem too mind that the train ride was closed. After the kids were done getting wet in the creek, and ate their lunch, we headed to the petting farm where the kids got a chance to pet the pigs, goats and the baby cows.

choco cake

Today is KJ's birthday and since he's in LaLa land, we had a cake sent to him via http://www.gocakego.com/. If you've never heard, you should check them out. It's like a party in a box and all you need is a bunch of family and friends to celebrate and share the cake with OR you can of course, just keep the cake all to yourself. I called KJ earlier to see what he thought of the cake and he's given it his thumbs up!!!! That's not bad for a choco cake lover.....

splish splash and Scooby Doo

We just got back from spending a few days up in Avon (a few miles past Vail) and baby jeffrey went for a dip in the pool for the very first time at the Avon rec. center. The rec center had an indoor pool for kids and I think jeffrey had a great time splish splashing in the water. Big sis nael wanted to go on the big water slide but unfortunately, the slide was only for kids 48" and up. Little nael usually goes on the big slide with snowboarder at the Apex rec. center indoor pool so she couldn't understand why she wasn't able to go this time. Little nael finally settled for one of the 2 kiddie water slides that was there and splashed around with her baby brother.

The following morning, we headed to Minturn which was the next town east of Avon. Since snowboarder and I both love Farmer's Markets, we decided to check out the Farmer's Market at Minturn which was supposedly a must-see, can't miss event on a Saturday with over 100 vendors. The place was busy and filled with a variety of booths BUT in our opinion, only a handful of fresh produce/fresh fruit vendors. There were clothing, shoes, bags, vintage posters, windchimes, sno-cones, creperie, bbq, pasta, humms, etc. Nonetheless, we had lunch there and enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon outdoors but left empty-handed. The highlight of little nael's afternoon though was seeing Scooby Doo parading around and giving him a high five (twice)!

I want Big Bird...Not!

Our bugger is starting to crawl....he's obsessed with little nael's teapot set!

special thanks to baby cousin Phoebe (9mos. old) who came for a visit last week and showed Jeffrey a few tips on how to crawl!

Dizzyland 2

As promised we took little nael to Dizzyland for her 3rd birthday. We finally went on Memorial Day, the day after Jeffrey's baptism. Little nael chose her outfit for the day: her pink Disney Princesses shirt (courtesy of David Aviram), her Cinderella underwear and Cinderella socks. Unlike her first trip, she pretty much knew most of the Disney characters this time around. We even got to watch the parade twice which she loved. Again, the first thing we rode was the train and headed to Fantasyland right away but unfortunately (for me, anyway), It's a Small World was closed for renovations....so we made our way to Toon town and little nael headed to Mickey's house and to Minnie's house too. She got to ride Dumbo and the carousel with snowboarder just as she did last year. This time we also took her to ride Pinocchio's Daring journey since she was now familiar with the story but at the end, I thought that the ride was pretty scary esp. since she spent most of the time holding on to me!

We wanted to take her on Peter Pan's flight but the line was way too long so we skipped that and made our way back to Toon town for one last ride for the day, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. Snowboarder and I had no idea what kind of ride it was except for the fact that you get into a car so we were surprised how rough it was...imagine Jeffrey being jiggled around!

I wanted to go check out the Haunted Mansion for old time's sake but decided that if I only had one choice for a ride, we might as well check out Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage since it just opened a few months ago. Sadly, the line was way too long so we just watched the parade and called it a day.

Cambria

Snowboarder, the kids and I along with MamaBelle and V-dog spent 4 days and 3 nights at Moonstone Beach in Cambria last week. We rented a 3bd/3ba house, 210 Weymouth which was perfectly located in Cambria. We stopped at Trader Joe's in SLO (40 min. away south) for some groceries before heading to the house since we planned to just cook at home and not go to any restaurants while we were there (T-Joe's is a really great place to shop and I really wish there was one in Denver...wishful thinking!).

Snowboarder and I decided to head back to Moonstone Beach in Cambria since this was one of our stops down Hwy 1 on our honeymoon in Aug. 2004. We stopped here for the night by accident and loved it! Back then we stayed at Whitewater Inn which is right across from the boardwalk and the beach and I told snowboarder back then that we should go back and spend more time here one day. So, almost 4 years later, we did it and Moonstone Beach is just how I remember it!

Anyhow, the weather was a lil bit in the cool side but nonetheless, we all had a wonderful time just relaxing and enjoying the ocean, walking the boardwalk and the trails, and just hanging out with the fam.

Baptism

Baby Jeffrey was baptized yesterday, Sunday, May 25th at Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, CA. (the same place where snowboarder and I got married in 2004). Although there were about 14 other babies and their families, I thought it was still a very special event. Jeffrey had 2 sets of his Godparents there along with 30 other family & friends including Nonny and Papa John who flew in from Auburn to join us! For Jeffrey's Christening, snowboarder and I along with the Godparents had to join Monsignor Kostelnik and Jeffrey in the baptismal font. The water, warmed to about 85 degrees, was about mid-thigh for me. I wore a dress so I just rolled it up, tied it in a knot and wore shorts under my dress. BTW, I forgot to bring shorts so I borrowed one from my 8 yr. old niece! After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Buca di Beppo in Universal City where we had Italian food and cake from Alsace bakery in Long Beach.

she's almost 3!

Little nael's birthday is in a couple of days and I just can't believe that my little nael is not little anymore. She's going to be 3! As promised, we are taking her back to Dizzyland since she had so much fun last time. And now, we are going to be a party of four with baby jeffrey tagging along...

Oggstudio

One of my dear friends from high school took photos of the kids at her studio in Long Beach, CA located inside Coley's. Loved her studio and loved the photos!!! Check out Oggstudio for more pics of her work. And, if you want to give the perfect gift, check this out, personalized lunch boxes with your favorite photo...now how cool is that?
